1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register as a chatter or client on SugarChats. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. The Nature of Our Service

SugarChats is a disclosed, paid companionship-chat platform. Every client is informed, before they can message anyone, that they are paying for a companion's time and conversation. Chatters are never permitted to pose as a client's romantic partner, and clients may not ask chatters to conceal the paid nature of the relationship from anyone.

3. Chatter Conduct Rules

Chatters must not misrepresent themselves as a client's girlfriend, boyfriend, fiancé(e), or romantic partner.
Chatters must not solicit money, gifts, or "emergency" payments from clients outside of SugarChats' standard per-minute pay.
Chatters must report any client who pressures them to violate these rules.
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform without payout of pending earnings tied to the violation.

4. Client Conduct Rules

Clients acknowledge, at signup, that SugarChats is a paid companionship service and that chatters are compensated for their time.
Clients must not request that chatters conceal the paid nature of the relationship, pose as a romantic partner, or send money/gifts outside the platform.
Harassment, coercion, or abusive behavior toward chatters will result in account termination.

5. Payments

Chatter earnings are calculated per minute of logged, active chat time and are paid out to M-Pesa daily. Client subscription fees are billed weekly, monthly, or yearly according to the plan selected at signup, as described on our Pricing page.

6. Account Suspension & Termination

SugarChats may suspend or terminate any account found to violate these Terms, including the disclosure and conduct rules above, at our discretion and without prior notice in cases of serious violations.

7. Limitation of Liability

SugarChats provides a platform connecting chatters and clients and is not responsible for the conduct of individual users beyond the enforcement of these Terms. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
